  1. What overall value does ETA provide to reduce the possibility of Inaccurate Test Cases as compared to documentation?

The Test Plan is documented using a state of the art set of Etaliq defined statements to enable code generation and syntax checking. The Test Plan is reviewed in accordance with ISO standards within all major manufacturer environments, which ensures the accuracy of the testing by combining the Test Plan documentation with the test code, the Development Engineers are verifying the accuracy of both the Code and the Test Procedure.

  2. Do I need to continue hiring Subject Matter Experts and Test Automation Engineers?

No, the skill level required to enable SME's to automate using the ETA tool is similar to that of Spreadsheet Macro Coding. Subject matter experts already define how to configure the devices under test, impose conditions, expect responses and verify results within their test plans. A simple to use set of instructions are already implied in these procedures. The only additional knowledge required is the Easy Test Automation technology.

  3. How much training does a Subject Matter Expert require to use this ETA technology?

Non-programmers require less than 4 hours training in order to use the ETA technology. This training enables them to automate test cases (average complexity), execute them, review results and verify System Under Test functionality.

The training material provided with ETA enables test case execution within minutes of implementation using the provided Test Plan examples. These examples can be copied and modified to increase the complexity within minutes of test lab setup.

  4. What do I need to get started using ETA?

You need to contact our sales department, and obtain a trial evaluation copy of our software. In order that we serve you as efficiently as possible in this endeavor, you will be required to supply some information about your company, your environment and your system under test. This information is used to configure the ETA tool for your environment. In some cases, an Etaliq engineer may require more specific information about your System Under Test and access to this device (or log output from it) so that we can verify that ETA can meet your requirements. This information is kept strictly confidential.
